This month, in TIPS, we will continue our study of salespeople versus order-takers. We want you to be able as an operator or an owner to show why it is so important to be a salesperson and how it can affect everything about the business in a positive manner. First of all, it affects the salespersons pocketbook. Thats a win. Next, it improves your customers experience thats a HUGE win. It positively impacts your top and bottom line! Increases revenue, cuts down on costs. Win. Finally, if you place your salespeople stragically throughout the operation, you will increase employee morale and decrease turnover, because everyone will begin to learn how to make more money, and the people that really dont want to be there will be flushed away from your operation. Yet another win.
If youre like me, winning is a good thing. In sports competition and the like, there can only be one true winner. But in almost every other area of life, the object is for us all to win.
