TIPS SPECIAL GOOD NEWS REPORT

Aloha! Despite the constant barrage of bad news coming at us from every direction each day, there is actually some good news in all of this.
- Gasoline prices continue to drop and natural gas prices are forecast to be low during the winter season.
- Wal-Mart and Target have both announced different strategies in marketing to consumers from now through the holidays. Wal-Mart will be cutting prices each week from now through the holidays and Target announced a similar plan to reduce prices on every day items such as clothing, food and other essentials.
- Many online travel companies are offering incredible deals and incentives to book travel through their websites. If you were planning a trip anyway, a family of four could save hundreds if not thousands of dollars.
- Disney is offering great deals to their guests during a special promotional period that includes free upgrades and three extra free nights.
- Money market accounts and CDs are offering high yields. Especially the online banks.
- The car dealerships are dealing! Research online, and if youre in the market for a new or used car, now is a great time to buy!
- Inflation rates are slowing dramatically and fourth quarter indicators are that inflation rates will be their lowest in two years.
